I'm not wishing to bicker, but one of the leading devs at TWI had played with the IJC pack, and could have prevented a conflict; it's an oversight, big deal. Humans make mistakes.

Perhaps your ungrateful feelings would be better spent at someone who actually owe you something, not TWI or IJC.

Just seperate more mutators with "," not "?"
If it still does not work look at webadmin if it is enabled or not ;)

I added the code line to my KF_Server_Launcher.Bat file

I sent the BAT file with the new command line back to my Server
Restarted my Server and checked, Still no weapons in the trader.

Then I did as you said, Looked to see if web admin was enabled or not
I searched the Killingfloor.ini file and Couldn't find anything regarding Webadmin
Except these lines

CutdownPackages=XWebAdmin
Applications[0]=xWebAdmin.UTServerAdmin
Applications[1]=xWebAdmin.UTImageServer

I'm not sure if I was supposed to enable it through the Killingfloor.ini or not.

Like I said This is my first time ever messing with FTP/codes/Servers stuff

I apologize for the Red text, the Grey/White messes with my eyes

To enable web admin, search for "bEnabled" - it should be true if its not already.
then type your server's IP into your web browser, followed by :8075 (port 8075 is the default web admin port).
from here you can manage your server.
At the left you'll see "mutators"
Click on that, see if IJC's pack is in the list of muts. If it is, check the box and hit "set mutators" or whatever it is at the bottom.
at the left it says refresh server. do so.
In this manner you can add any kind of mutator without the command line - it just has to be in serverpackages in the KF.ini

This helped me so much
I had no Clue I could log into the server as the webadmin like that

I was having the problem of my server being 6/6 all the time and I wanted to Join so i would have to restart it and kick everyone, now I can just kick a select person to join.

I set all the mutators under webadmin,
the Antiblocker along with I&JC wep+perk
Now I looked In my KillingFloor.Ini and searched all of my ServerPackages=
And couldnt find The Antiblocker or Wep pack after a 'Serverpackages="
So what exactly would I need to add?
Serverpackages=IJCWeaponPack-WhiteV26.MutKFWeaponPack
That?

For gameservers i believe you need to edit your startup command line via the webfrontend with gamerservers, make sure you server is "stopped" prior or your changes wont save.

that goes for editing any of the core files for KF

IT would seem my only Problem now is finding the correct Code for Serverpackages=

I've tried
Code:
Serverpackages=IJCWeaponPack-WhiteV26
ServerPackages=IJCweaponPack-W1

Under [Engine.GameEngine]

And both cause my server to crash completely

I enabled the Weapon mod and the
perk mod in web admin by using the servers IP and Port
After I check them both and hit "Set Mutators"
Both the wepon pack and the perk pack are unchecked after restarting


But the KF antiblocker is staying checked after a restart and I never edited anything in my Killingfloor.ini or added any Serverpackages= code for the antiblocker
I did add the Antiblocker UCL. And U. Files to my server though

It only starts the anti-block mutator, the Weapon pack has to be manually set via the web admin (which is useless to me).

Then beyond that, I tried to setup redirect with compression

If you go to http://thegamewardens.net/servercontent/kf/ you can see all the content follows the proper structure and is compressed, but when I connect to the server (after manually adding the mutator) it still has a very slow download.

@kampinkarl: It looks like something is missing. Why do you add both to the server packages? Actually you dont need to set the server packages, cause the mutator does that for you ;)
If post your server log I can help you, but atm I got too less information.

I never added both of those lines at the same time to the .Ini
I was just trying different things to get it to enable it on my server

The only reason I tried adding your guy's mod to the server packages
Is because when I added the mod files to my KF server it showed the check boxes for it in the Web Admin. But after restarting my server it would automatically uncheck the perk/weapon pack mods.

So if the mutator automatically sets my server packages to do that
I'm still confused and lost as to why my server wont register the weapons pack

So far I've installed the 5 folders of the weapon mod to my KF Server
in all their appropriate places

and that made the options appear and able to check in Web Admin

How do I post my Server Log btw?
Is there personal information i should remove before posting it?


It should be as simple as uploading the wepon pack file to your server
and enabling the weapon pack in web admin right?
I wonder what Is causing the mod to uncheck iteself after the reset

Well then
I do believe I have found my problem

I had downloaded White V1 and uploaded those files to my server
And was trying to enable those on my server with the server launcher BAT code for 2.6

Which is confusing because on the main page of your downloads

Beta 6 And White 1
are the only options I could find on your site for some reason

Going to test this and see if its my problem

a update for killing floor come

Everyone,
I wanted to give you all a heads up that we will release a KF Patch later today. This will be a required server update.

Game play fixes:

  • Fix for Magnums not getting reload/recoil bonuses for sharpshooter
  • Fix for claymore sword not having the same weight in game as the trader menu
  • Fix for M4203 rounds and M79 rounds being shared online, causing you to double use grenade launcher ammo, as well as some other issues
  • Fixed the problem with grenades, rockets, etc colliding with players on your team and blowing yourself up
Map fixes:

  • Fixed Exploits on KF-IceCave
Do you think it's fix the bug for the IJC pack ?

Correctly got 2.6 installed and working yesterday

Whitelisted, stats went up and everything.


I'de like to thank you Ivan for taking time out of your day to respond and help
me with my issues. It was unnecessary for you to do so with all the updates and fixes not to mention real life parameters. But you did, and for that I thank you very much!

Halbridious, thanks for the help with enabling Web Admin and getting a look inside that, I appreciate it very much!

Looking forward to 2.7 and all future endeavors
