Which side will you take the most?

Axis. I have family that died in service of the Wehrmacht on the Eastern Front, so my preference is Axis, but it is just a game.
@Chekhov - nobody should be allowed to flame you for playing CoD1/2. Those were the last, best Call of Duties, and during their time in the spotlight they were some of the only good WW2 games available.

And nobody will. Most people here looks back on the old CoDs with pleasure and a 'good ol' times' feeling
I only play on the German side. They have superior weapons and their uniforms are sharper looking, everyone knows that.
I also plan to play as the Japanese in the Rising Storm expansion.

Auto-Assign is the way to go, atleast for me. Even teams are still one of the cornerstones of a good, fair game.
Although I have to admit that I prefer the Germans. Not only do I prefer atleast some of their weaponry (MP40, StG44, MG34/42) and like their uniforms, I also like that I don't have to read the voice messages.
Is it just me or was switching sides because one team had less players really much more common during the mod days?

I have a couple of Italian friends (Too many in New York -__-) and I always tease them about that but they never get it (Me being a WW2 buff and them knowing diddly squat haha)
Soviets when able, i love Soviet tech and weapons, there's something about how crude it is, yet it just works, that i have allways found charming.
I'll play the German side if the teams are badly stacked, but i do feel kinda dirty when i do, i grew up hearing my Grandfather talk about the time he spend imprisoned at Buchenwald from 1943 to 45, and how he witnessed the final solution with his own eyes, so yeah.. i cant help feeling he is spinning in his grave when i do.

Italy betrayed the Triple Alliance and joined sides with the Triple Entente in World War One.
And then in World War 2 Italy was rick rolled by the Allies and we know how that turned out. One could say Italy being on the WW2 German side decided who won... Allies.
I don't think Germany really could have avoided being allies with Italy at the time, and vice versa.

I like both Russian and German weapons,they are both pretty cool so i really don't care on which side i'am playing now.I will always go on the team that has less players on the server.
I never really cared about which side i play in CS and i don't care in this game.
I'm usually an Auto-Assign kind of person, even if I do sometimes prefer one side to the other. I find no satisfaction in winning a game on a stacked side. As to which side I'd prefer to be assigned to I'm not sure, I'll wait and see how all the weapons handle in HOS compared to Ost Front. (Hoping PPSH is a little more controllable)
