Where is the gamma option in Video Settings!

I have not seen this in the beta or in the retail version, there is a Brightness setting in Video, but where is the Gamma option? Or heck, even a Contrast option is missing! Gamma is what makes shadows lighter, Brightness just adjusts the overall brightness and will not do much for shadows.

So every time i start the game i have to adjust the Gamma manually via the console (like gamma 2.4). It does not seem to save in a .ini file, i have searched through the ini files but did not find a gamma or contrast option to save it in there...

In RO1 you had Brightness, Contrast and Gamma, now we only have Brightness, isn't that a step back?

Have you tried the editing the "DisplayGamma=2.2" line under "[Engine.Client]" found in the ROEngine.ini?

+1, I would certainly like some more options regarding brightness and colour.

I did that, but for some reason nothing changed ingame...

With the Options Menu bug - options reseting whenever the menu is accessed, try changing the gamma in the .ini and then right clicking on the file, selecting properties, and tick "read-only" under attributes. See if that helps.
