Also, on the topic of useless weapons, doesn't it seem like EVERY new player loves to use dual 9mm's? I have to explain why it's actually a downgrade like 2 or 3 times an hour while playing.
7: Horzine has developed a long range money teleporter that shoots its rays all over the cities and they go through all materials except money which it takes to wherever the local teleport is located. In theory this teleporter may have been also around for a while to increase funding for experimentation. but that was before it was customary to throw money around everywhere, this explains why when you accidentally drop money you never see it again irl

I actually use them as support, with a machete, pump, and hunting shotgun. The difference is I actually can kill stuff with them. I usually do this when I can't get a sharp to buy me a handcannon.

On a more serious note, I think it's because people go 'fast firing rate, cheap, and "gangster" '. Of course, any gangsters actually looking to survive should use the mac10

Yeah, watching a lvl 2 Commando using dual 9mm's is like watching a John Woo movie. Except only the main character dies.
Use it to buy metric tons of Sunchips which she then uses to bribe the Patriarch into leaving her alone.
And her summer homes in Spain & Brazil of course.
A cycle of exploitation that can only end by killing said Patriarch! I will use that as my justification of trading that dosh into enslavement: it is being used for the common good of all enslaved dosh!
However, no matter the outcome, you can bet that whoever owns Sunchips would make a fortune (especially if the zeds won; the patty would force all humans to work in the factories, producing Sunchips)
I'm always so sad seeing them go to, but you just have to remember, it's for their own good. It is a true moment of both heartbreak and beauty when a man releases his dosh to be free.

Perhaps the mysterious glowing from the dosh is an invisible acid that dissolves it if you don't pick it up fast enough. An acid only effective on a specific material on dosh, but nothing else, and can only dissolve on direct contact but when picked up the acid falls off.
