September thru December 1942 for the Stug F/8 so unless Stalingrad took place in 1941 I don't see a problem. The MG was introduced with the Stug III E. I think that was the point I was trying to make. The F/8 in RO I had absolutely nothing. In RO II hopefully if an F/8 is put in it will, or at least realistically should, have an MG that is deployable on the (hatchless) roof.Yes starting with the Ausf E, a loose MG34 was carried inside.
