Where are the custom keybindings stored?

I successfully binded my numPad keys and others via in-game console

setbind <key> <command>

but they were not saved in the .ini file (the game definitely remembered), and adding the new bindings in .ini doesn't seem to affect the game either.

I just reset all the keybindings and it looks like I have to redo the whole thing via console.
Is there a more practical way?
