Most likely another feature of RO:I that TWI 'forgot' to put in.

The only time I have seen a message come up was, believe it or not, on TWI's test server when I was trying out the latest patch. It only showed up when a bot was appoligizing and forgiving another bot. I have never ever ever seen it come up in any other circumstance.
Come to think of it...... you are right. All I've seen are bots working that feature.
Had it register for me once in beta but never again. I want to be able to forgive people, I want to be a noble person again like thee olde days.
They also appear on the regular servers if human players kill bots. I have seen that lots of times. The lack of that message "Player x has forgiven player y" when a human player tries to forgive, seems to suggest that the "np" you type in actually has no effect whatsoever at the moment.
