What's the possibility of a RO3?

I just hope the jump from RO2 to RO3 is as large as the jump from RO1 to RO2.

It seems apparent that TWI is setting up RO2 for the long haul with the heavy modding and other post-release support.

ro3 won't be around for a good while atleast 5 years (thats a nice minimum.) with all the mods whos gonna pay for the new one.

The zero-grav movement in Shattered Horizon is well done, moving around is more like a flight simulator than an FPS (in a good way). But I don't think the game is very realistic beyond that.

I am 100% certain that TWI will do something with ROHOS before they think of RO 3. I am thinking of standalone expansions?

Well it was almost a decade after TFC that TF2 came about. I still remember the old screenshots of what TF2 was supposed to be, which was a more realistic, military related shooter than what TFC was, let alone what TF2 ended up as.

TF2 changed often before it was finally released..... I'm sure there will be a TF3, but not for many years to come.

Make a zombie game. Just have a big apocalyptic city, must survive. Need food, water and protection. Possible multiplayer. Plenty of options like start separated or together. Nice slow zombies. Some interaction with environments like holding doors shut, leaning on friends shoulders. Make it when your bit you slowly turn into zombie. Aim of the game is to survive for as long as possible. More random monsters which appear every so often. Dark areas. Torches and flash lights. Plenty of animations for zombies nomming on you.


Done.

Developers keep messing up the formula for a classic zombie game. I entrust tripwire to actually do a proper job! lol

As far as the OP, of course it's way too early to think about RO3 and we won't need another sequel until way down the line.

The post release content, community additions and official mods will provide a few years of fun.
