Errr what? So you and The Masta actually thought I was serious?Gee wiz, I hope they push the release date back even further to do that!
What will make me avoid buying this game?
Uh, it never coming out first of all... :IS2:
Lol. Really? You're using that argument knowing what is in the game?
If the is-2, mg-42 or Tie Fighter isn't in the game, it's not because they were never there. It's due to balance within the video game.

triple25mm, I would assume that people who play countdown have the objective in mind. If you attack and the objective is capped it should not come as a surprice. If you defend and the time runs out it should not come as a surprice, or if all atackers are dead then there is noone more to kill. I'd say it's a totally invalid fear =).
I'm a little worried about the stats progression system. For one, I'm left wondering why it's even there in the first place... but regardless, after playing Killing Floor and being disappointed with how long it takes to raise your levels (150 hours in and only one level 6 class), I am a bit worried about progression speed in the this game.
Stupid thread... we wouldn't all be on this forum if we werent going to buy the game no matter what, anyone who hangs around on these forums and claims they aren't buying is a liar.
I won't be buying this game, because of a lack of LAN. "Why would I post then?" you say.... because I know for a fact that they could add LAN if enough people wanted it, and didn't kiss up to them. If noone ever said "hey Ford, we won't buy your cars anymore unless you put the horse emblem back on the Mustang", the current, very cool retro stang would not exist. Same thing for the new retro challenger, had noone said "hey dodge, that thing your calling a charger isn't a muscle car, and if the challenger looks like that we won't buy it".
This game is set to be the most "true to PC gaming" game that has come out in the last 5 years, yet one of the most common PC game features that has been missing from most PC games for the last 5 years....is not going to be included.
I personally could live without mod tools, but LAN is a make or break for me.
There's LAN in RO2. I was actually surprised to notice that feature since most games nowadays don't include it.
Gee, troll much?

(I still try to buy a real disk version of the games I buy too. Call me old fashioned, but I like being able to re-install a game in the middle of the desert where I am lucky to have electricity, not to mention internet access)
What are you talking about????? There is LAN. There was LAN in Ost. Where is this supposed information about no LAN capability?
IMO it's a stupid question to ask, RO2:HOS is really the only FPS I'm excited for this year (though I'll see how BF3 turns out).
