I'm not too worried tbh. It'll be a good game in it's own right. If it's really far off from what the community feels a new RO should be, there will be realism mods and mods to recreate the feeling of RO, no doubt.

This is very funny movie.

1. Voices and HUD are taken from ostfront
2. Someone hits you, you hide for a while and you are brand new!
3. You can see where your enemy is when he shoot to you
4. When you are entering after the window you have weapon in your hands
5. No ragdoll
6. Running soldiers looks silly
7. Graphics looks terrible
Oh good grief. You are watching a crappy Youtube copy of some movie taken on a handycam of an early Alpha build running on a plasma screen...

1. As Yoshi said - lots of elements haven't been done yet. Early alpha build.
2. No. What on earth makes you think that?
3. No. What on earth makes you think that?
4. Early alpha build...
5. Yes there is. Plenty of ragdoll.
6. You can tell? Early alpha build...
7. See the keywords above... "Youtube"... "Handycam"... "Plasma screen"... "early Alpha build".

And people wonder why we don't like to show stuff early. There is no point in bleating for lots of information when people insist on being dense when they do get it!

i think the radar is the area of influece for squad orders and morale

i dont like very much the icons in the bottom when you can use a surface to tak cover, but i guess it can be deactivated

the graphics look too unreal 3 shiny but, this is a crappy cam video that tend to increase contrast a lot and its stil an alpha, they stil have time to work with that

what i see is an alpha of something that will be awesome, same core mechanics of RO, with more and improved realistic features and more tactical variety, am I the only one who can see this?

I'm actually happy from what I've seen from the presentation, looks good!
Too bad some people don't get it, that this does not completly represent the completed version of this game obviously.

Anyways, good presentation John and can't wait to see more!

the player is slow bleeding the whole time, as you can see the screen blurrying each few seconds

7. See the keywords above... "Youtube"... "Handycam"... "Plasma screen"... "early Alpha build".
See your screens
That doesn't change the "early Alpha Build" part

but he has a point in No.3, i also noticed that one :(

yes well, i'm not really against it, in RL you can feel where bullets are going in a 3D space, a feedback that a game can't provide so its actually more realistic that way

I do think the effect should be less visible, much more subtle so you can "feel" it but not really "see" it
