Then again in hollywood cars blown all the time with fender damage.

As a veteran CoD2 Tactical Realism player (yes that means i am old), I have to say I love the Search and Destroy game type. It works really well.

It is, however, not for everyone in the RO2 community. Sitting on a couple of servers the last couple of days I have noticed a big drop off in players -- i guess the curious whetted their curiousity -- from when it was added to the game. I was amazed that many did not even know how S&D works.

If you play this in classic mode, add some custom maps and (if possible) stick it in Campaign, this would be the ideal WW2 Tactical Realism type of play. It reminds me very much of CoD;WaW tactical play.

This is my favorite gametype! A couple of months ago there were servers running S&D and now there are none available. Is there any way to find servers that could be hosting this?

I really enjoy the all or nothing feel of this mode and the gameplay it creates when people are forced to be more cautious.

There is a filter which allows you to filter SD servers only. Also 29th Infantry Division is hosting Community Cup in S&D:
