We should not have indicator at all. Just a good sound to know what is going around. So lets have a good in game sound, people.
i agree. i think that peripheral indicator is the same as cheating. showing you guys you never saw, because you didn't turn your head to look for them? bah!:mad:

A normal human's field of vision (unless he is wearing blinders of course) is wider than that of the average computer monitor. That is why its there.

But a lot of times when you looking around and overlook an enemy because he is well-camouflaged you also see the peripheral indicator. And thats the point why i don

I want to see RO2 use WSAD again for the main gun while tanking. This really gave it a mechanic feel. Using a mouse just feels really unrealistic.


I second this, but it would be impossible to implement with the bot driver system being what it is now.

Is TWI looking into to weapon damage at all? One the biggest reasons I always end up taking a hiatus from this game is that weapon damage feels completely wrong.

Regarding peripheral vision indicators, etc. Is it not possible for these kind of FPS games to implement something like IRTracker as they have in most flight simulator games? Or would coordination between weapon direction (mouse) and vision be too difficult to achieve?

The tanks reallly need some exiting animations and entering ones like in Men of war or Armed assault 2, that would get rid of the old problems that tank crewman were spamming by getting in another tank or become soliders instead .
