  • Removal of the bleeding system (Player will always take 100% of the damage to an area on the shot and not half then bleed the rest out like in the current system)
  • Players will have a movement speed penalty after being shot in the feet
  • Stamina will have a much greater effect on weapon sway and recoil
  • Stance will have an increased effect on weapon sway/recoil (with the default standing state having more sway then the current game modes)
  • Removal of "controlled breathing" zoom, but retaining the functionality to help steady the weapon as well as the slight iron sight zoom
  • Stamina will recharge at a slower rate
  • No Lockdown

This may be a dumb question but when you say removed AI from tanks, you mean them firing at people in the game world right? Not completly removing them.

So tank commander's can still say Forward, (maybe not target and fire?) And you still can quick switch between positions in the tank? Not your the only person and you have physically move between spots?

Also response to reload classic reload animation? (when suppressed?)

I miss working the bolt slower and having the feeling like he was having difficulties reloading.

All I can say is "NICE!"

I was playing ro1 2wks ago for about 1.5hrs and I couldn't hit crap out in a distance. It was tough! Thx guys! I like the challenge.

Speaking for myself, I can say that I appreciate the communication.

To those out there, TWI could just have ignored of us so called RO Vets out there, but they are choosing not to. They continue to prove, as in the past, that they do support their games after release with regards to feedback and game improvements.

We may not agree with everything they do, but we can continue to give our feedback to help support the game and the community.

Not to my knowledge at this time. I'm actually pushing the animation team for something else personally. But anything in that department takes time especially since they are working on some new things atm.

We have been, we just haven't been comfortable putting out details til we were a bit more final on them. We are a company built on listening to our community feedback. And while we may not get everything right or get to every bit of it we give it a good try.

To keep the ratio's similar to RO 1 we would have to remove the assault role completely to have the Squad Leaders retain access to sub-machine guns. Remember this is our first pass. It may not be the final solution we go with.

If you feel the need to find a median you could just try removing the semi-auto rifles from squad leaders so they'd only have SMG's and bolt actions available

@ the SL's having no autos. I've wanted a bolt as a TL/SL many times, if the removal of autos from this class is something that is tweaked later, I would like to see rifles remaining as an option for those classes.

Fix the damn maps ... where fix = balance. Half of them are so russian friendly they look designed by Stalin himself. Sent me a PM if you want to know how to proper balance a map.

Also, splitting the magical "1000 players/day at peak" into 3 game-modes will be bad. Replace or remove a mode - 3 is too much.

I think the game still has such a large amount of bugs and design flaws (THE NETWORKING) that repairs should still take priority over rearranging the deck chairs with extraneous game mode tweaks....but I suppose that's the expected POV from someone who mostly prefers RO2's game design as it is.
Once again you have to understand that this mode will bring a lot of players back.
I wouldn't hold my breath on that happening.

I agree. I really like what I'm seeing and this definitely seems like a step in the right direction. Can't wait to start testing and experiencing for myself how much of an impact all those features and tweaks will have on the gameplay. Although I agree that the netcode really worries me still as well.

This has to be asked: Can you please have the "weapon shot out of hand" mechanic back in the game? It was one of the best things about RO1.
