I was originally happy when I saw a Twitter post saying RO2 was for preorder on Steam now (I'm thinking sweet $40 for the game ).
I click on the link and it says I see Steam Preorder discount ($36 for the game ).
Then I see RO1 owner bonuses .
Then I see a digital deluxe package for $40 with discounts
That RO1 bonus discount was simply outstanding.
I have never seen a studio that doesn't like too much money ! (maybe its some marketing strategy which I am not aware off )
I still don't get it: a AAA game for $31 (all discounts applied), I say again: WOW :IS2:
I am getting the normal steam version only because I am saving $ for another copy in the near future
I play Killing Floor and TF2 often so I loved the hats/charachters. Really want to play the beta. Also early unlocks aren't necessary, but are a nice bonus. Plus more cash for Tripwire. I even bought Ostfront 45 because I heard it was great, and it is.
Did just preorder the regular steam version. Wasn't too interested in the other stuff that comes with the deluxe edition. The two weapon unlocks for RO:OST owners are enough for me.
I was thinking along the same lines but then i remembered TWI is awesome for supporting PC gameplay in consolised sea and giving us this true PC game and then i went with deluxe
TF2 hats: dont care. dont like TF2
KF Char.: dont care. since i cant see them myself
Weaponunlocks: will get those though playing the game anyway since i will play this game A LOT + working for them feels better.
