Yeap, I'm sure he won't make the same mistake again, next time John will be for 4 hours. :IS2::IS2::IS2:
=D! 4 hours of RO2 info ^_^
Also I want those extra 45 minutes >_>

I certainly was sensitive to John being trapped longer than he agreed to be on.I apologize for the abruptness of the ending.
John did stay on Skype for about an hour talking community matters with the panel and that surprised me and was a very pleasant experience.
I want to thank John and all the TWI people that came to listen.
If irc questions went unanswered I surely do apologize.
Live broadcasting is a difficult game as I use 2 pcs and have about 6 to 8 windows open at any given time.
We will also be making a second cast from the after show Skype.
It takes a couple days to edit everything.

Relating to the interview, I got rather worried when John talked about heroes having less recoil and better equipment. I don't want this game to turn into some "rank-fest" where everybody is focused on getting the hero privileges. Tripwire should be able to pull it off, though.
I'm afraid TWI admits too much to arcade-playstyle to address the larger gaming community, sacrificing the realism we are used to in ROOST.Interesting, I didn't know that.

And what is meant with ''less surpression effects''? Less compared to what exactly? Roost?
Some just refuse to accept progress. It's about choices, he said there would be 3 different settings: Relaxed, Realism and Custom (Which includes saving config files to share with other server admins).
Now, how can someone b!tch about that? I guess some aren't happy unless they complain about something.
RO2 is opening the door to ALL types of pc gamers and that's the key to success. The more games that are sold the more money they will make which pays the bills, their salary and more future content.
ROOST was succesful because it was not aimed on all types of pc gamers. Some just refuse to accept progress. It's about choices, he said there would be 3 different settings: Relaxed, Realism and Custom (Which includes saving config files to share with other server admins).

brownnoserPeople need to calm down..No one has played the game and this is not ROOSt..This is Heroes of stalingrad another installment in the RO series/franchise..
Everything I have heard and seen so far suggests that Heroes will be a huge game for the PC community at large..
When you look at all the console ported games recently released which have only offered PC gamers "2nd best".
Heroes by contrast is a game built for PC, built for PC gamers and supported by a company commited to supporting the PC community.
The bigger that community is the more successful the game and the more we will all get from it..![]()

Difference between Relaxed realism and realism is about players HUD, not gameplay or game mechanics.
However all ranking, hero, unlock modes can be disabled in server configuration file.
ROOST was succesful because it was not aimed on all types of pc gamers.
And stop b!tching about rightfully complaining.
