According to the TWI Facebook page, Ramm will be making an appearance at the BASHandSlash Crosshairs podcast on Saturday to answer questions.

Let's get a list together of what questions we'd like to ask him, and get somebody to call in / IRC on to actually ask them (I'd volunteer, but I have a prior engagement).


Here's a couple one of mine:

Will tank pistol and grenade ports be usable?

I just hope TWI will tell some info regarding the Clan gaming features, and Server options. Those are things that generally make hardcore communities horny anyway :p

Beside of course that the classic territory game type with them is not really that known with them. Fighting over entire buildings/bridges/streets/fields and not only a flag or room somewhere in the centre. So perhaps a general description what RO and HOS stands for for the new folk :p.

More info about the singleplayer, and the rainbowsix alike coop stuff would be nice to hear as well.

will the german 1st person running animations be changed? not a game-breaker by any stretch, by I still would rather have it match the 3rd person view

Hero system - So far we know nothing except hero's higher cap power. Maybe some new details.
Players rank/character progression - How it will work? Will players char be different at rookie, regular or veteran experience? Will he wear on his uniform different insignias/medals/etc.
RO2 tank penetration system - How good it will be?
Training thread - anything like this will be in RO2?
What good will be for clans - server options, anti-cheat, etc
Single player - any news?
Pre-Order - When (this year?)? How much and what extra can we get in pre-order limited edition
Beta - When? Will be there new slots in Official TWI testers group?
Any plans after RO2:HoS release?

Mega Tank maps := 64 Tanks. Max players = 64 players.
I'm having trouble working out how this can be balanced out, so that the Mega Tank Map game play works, (as it should)?
Halfman/Halfbot, 64 players or 64 Tanks.
If someone could point out, what I'm sure is a very logical answer, I would be most grateful.

Some of these are those that others have stated:

1) Hero system -- there is much debate and uneasiness on these forums regarding how it works. PLEASE SPLAIN!

2) Singleplayer campaign -- on what scope will it be? Can we expect to see a full scripted (cinematic) campaign, or will it be more like a bunch of MP maps strung together with AI instead of players?

3) Ranking system -- what are the details? What kind of asthetic changes will we see in our avatars? What about gameplay changes? Will those gameplay changes be minor? Also, how deep is the character customization we will have?

4) Server options and clan features -- I'm not in a clan so directly I don't really care about some of this stuff, but I realize that clans are the heart and soul of any thriving PC game community and thus keeping them happy is very important.

I'd also like to know if there will be interruptible animations, and, if there are, to what extent.

One of my main complains about RO:Ost is that if you start doing something, but something more urgent comes up, you are stuck with it and just die, making the movement somewhat clunky and frustrating (not as much as ArmA)

2.) If you weren't in the beta for Ostfront, can you still help playtest for RO2 in one of the betas?

the old big RO beta group is about 500 people big, considering Ramm has stated there are 20000 keys available I assume that they will need to use other people than those for the beta.

I'm fairly certain that Ramm mentioned that there will be interruptible reloads

I'd like to know more about the bullet penetration system. I believe this has been confirmed as a feature. I'd like to know more about it.
