It was shot on multiple computers. None of them are the same. All the graphics and video settings were.

But I used the Origin Laptop featured in the "Remembering" commercial. :D :IS2:

The exact laptop that was used in the trailer? or just same brand.

9000 dollars on a laptop!. I dont get the point of these laptops, they aren't exactly portable. They are not only huge and weigh a tonne there battery life is poor so you always want to plug in (btw how long does the battery life last on your beast?).

The only advantage is that you can move it from room to room, but i say it better off getting a desktop and saving probably 3000 off your laptop if you went desktop probably more.

Until battery life massively increases, i dont see gaming on laptops taking off because as next gen graphics come in i doubt the battery life will last 1-10 minutes.

I wonder if that company builds it's computer as well as Alienware. I for one know that not only are the computers at alienware extremely overpriced, but also shoody in production value. I'll never by an overpriced piece of junk from a company like that again. These origin computers seem to be similar in inflated price.

I was messing around on that site, and for a custom origin laptop it came out to $5000 something, I laughed a little I mean you are paying for a brand name, not bashing origin I am sure they are incredible machines, but the whole reason the pc market is dying is because of the cost to make a pc.

I can make that exact pc and with a better monitor as a desktop pc simply by buying parts off say http://www.memoryexpress.com

for half the price and maybe less, I built my comp for $1200 2 years ago
I7 860 @ 2.8 ghz quad core
8 GB DDR2
two ATI 5770 crossfired
and a 350 gb hard drive

edit : ASUS P7P55D Premium Motherboard, 800 watt Rocketfish power source, and my case is custom with led's and glass siding and lots of fans

From the Origin system builder, accessories tab, games section:

Battlefield Bad Company 2
Bioshock 2
Civilization V
Crysis 2
Dragon Age 2
Duke Nukem Forever
Just Cause 2
Left 4 Dead 2
Mass Effect 2
Napoleon Total War
Starcraft II
Starcraft II CE
Supreme Commander 2
World of Warcraft Cataclysm
World of Warcraft Cataclysm CE

Anyone else notice the distinct lack of a certain game that just gave that company some free advertising?

;)

I would say saving $8000 is more accurate.
