It'd be easy to just say everthing and knock off for lunch, but I' like to think I'm more professional than that.

I think quite simply I love Killing Floor because it does what is does very well. There isn't any pointless gimmicky crutches, everything has its purpose and place, and overall it stands on its own as a unique game. There isn't anything just thrown in to sound good on the feature list. It doesn't try and imitate popular stuff, or rehash old ideas, it just focuses on making the game fun for the player.

I think thats what I like about TWI overall. They aim to make games fun, rather than to just rake in sales. No corporate bullcrap, no half assed ideas, no suckering in the market. Just good old fashioned hard work and dedicaton to making something truly outstanding.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

TWI, we salute you :IS2:

BERSERKERS!

  • Using map knowledge to avoid dangerous areas, and map "flow" knowledge to know when to move move move.
  • Using situational awareness to perfectly prioritize targets to avoid damage
  • Managing space and time constraints in confined spaces to MELT THE WALLS
  • The sound and look of chopping heads off with katana. It's as if their craniums are just itching to fly away from their bodies, and you are simply their liberator
  • Dancing around hostiles
    • Side stepping, backing away from, and mid-airing crawlers
    • Being surrounded, and killing the ONE weak link in the undead chain necessary to escape
  • Being faced with a situation in which damage is unavoidable and:
    • Accepting this fact, but not panicking
    • Making a decision almost reflexively that will minimize said damage

Berserkers are a rush!

- finally a proper zombie-FPS game
- metal music
- graphics are polished up in such a way that it gives you the feeling of playing an actual realtime zombiegame
- great balanced stock maps with nice ambiance (I puke on most of the custom maps)
- Gore and physics
- great weapons that fit in the KF universe
- 6 man team wipe-outs, it stays hilarious to see players get butchered
