I played a few hours of the German campaign just fine. I gave up on giving more detailed commands than All Follow or All Attack, but it was all working as intended. I decided to give multiplayer a whirl and hoooly ****. It was laggy but worked for a couple of minutes, then:
*My M key stopped working
*The game would minimize itself every ten seconds or so, and the desktop would refresh.
*Pressing some combination of keys would launch either Run or Search or Windows Narrator
Eventually I was no longer able to return to the game after it minimized, but random Windows apps kept popping up. All of these problems stopped once I killed the ROGame.exe process. I'm running Windows XP.
What the christ is going on? I didn't even know it was possible for this kind of **** to happen. I have all the first-time-running stuff installed and singleplayer ran just fine.
