Luckly nobody wastes time trying to find them each game.

I wouldn't say that's true, at least on hard and even on suicidal and hoe when the maps first realease. I've joined plenty of games with one or two guys kiting a clot around looking for the collectibles. And everyone else just sits in spectate because they are too lazy to get the achievement themselves. People join and leave frustrated that they can't play. Its by no means common but I have seen it happen plenty of times.

Personally, I don't care about it. When it first came along, it was really nice. It's become too standard for the new maps. Personally, it's nice but on the other hand, there too many. I wont complaina bout them as it does make you learn the maps, that's for sure :p

I like them with the exception of Stronghold's which are insanely difficult to find.

I even like the one in Big Sunrise where it turns on the iKill machine. Any others that do things like that? (I'm aware this isn't an official achievement stock map.)

On the Internet.
I'd prefer something along the lines of a unique thing to do in a map. Like completing some tasks that aren't 'key' but it takes some time/thought and at the end your reward is an achievement. A lot like Steamland with the game achievements. That was super cool.
