Tripwire seems to put them on almost all maps (and yes I know clandetine was made by swift not TWI).

You mean the little things you shoot and get an achievement for if you get them all? I voted that I like them, though usually I get the achievement by having other people gather for them. I like secrets and hidden objects in games, and rewards for those patient enough to find them all. Plus you get a chance to look at the details of the map and appreciate the map maker a little more.

Personally, I think it's lazy. Sure hiding them might have taken some brain power and time but it seems all modern maps have them. It was neet when HbH and Steamland had them but after those it seems like "meh", it's now just another generic achievement along with the 4 "Beat X on Y difficulty", they are now just expected to appear in the newer updates.

Not all but almost all (exceptons Hell, Forgotten). Idea like for ZED on moonbase to get something what you can kill with is ok, but if achievement is only thing you get, I'd prefer to not have them.

There's a good balance between exciting and frustrating. Stronghold was waaaaay over the line. X(

I feel that there's only a handful of players that actually look and find it themselves. Everyone else checks the guides later.

But I think there's really no harm in keeping them. It is just another achievement for the achievement hunters to get, but other than that, it's not too distracting or deterring from the map experience.

They suck. They're not fun to do and just devolve into spamming your M79 and M32. Better off just opening the map in kfed and filtering visibility by model.

They were fun as long as they assured something after finding them all, such as the gnomes in Hillbilly Horror and the Z.E.D. pieces in Moon Base.

Usually boring and tedious tasks of finding little things - the only ones that were worth finding were the pages in Alan Wake and Audio Logs in Borderlands 2 because of their enrichment of the story.

So TWI. People don't like collectables so don't waste your time with them. ;)

I'd love to have a real life pukey doll.

But I hate those map collectibles in game.

I voted for that I like them but... uh... I think they should "reward" the player in some way when all collectibles are done. Like a 1000

That's bad idea. Then players will spend time looking for them every game. I hope that never happens in KF or KF2.

How many Hell on Earth games did you hunt all the 30 pukey dolls or 50 gold bags? Have you ever get killed while doing so?
