That lowering prices makes me buy more games . I buy extremely few games generally ^^. I didn't bother buying KF for 50% off, but got myself to do it on 66% off .

Spent 9$ on Dawn of War I and I have been having 2-3 hour long battles of non-stop nail biting action.

It also taught me that I don't have time to play many games at once (I learned this one in the past year sales in which I bought a ****load of games) So this time, I only bought Mirrors Edge for 2,5

That some indies games are really worth to try for a smaller amouth of money.( for example i never whould have tried "Zen Bound 2" but its an awesome game )

Always wait for sales (big ones or just weekend deals) to buy stuff except for certain games (RO2 ) and never buy more than 2-3 games at once since a new deal will present itself before you have finished all of them and tried a couple mods too.

^^^Ya I wouldn't touch that shyte with a ten foot poll. It's pretty, but a blight on the worthy IL-2 name.

I really hope SoW actually comes out eventually. Otherwise guess we'll be playing IL-2 till 2020 .

i only bought one game during the sale because the others were not low priced enough or they weren't interesting. what i did learn though is to exercise caution when a game is priced too low. i bought theater of war 2:kursk for 5 dollars and boy do i regret it. the game isn't optimized at all and it's sputtering and near unplayable. the path finding issues finally made me turn off the game, perhaps forever.

This. It taught me that you can have a week-long sale of the past years' games without having a must-buy in it.

I only ended up buying Mirror's Edge because it was extremely cheap while being somewhat recent... and I played it for two hours since.

The rest: either not at all interesting or not cheap enough.
