Is that a snowman hiding behind your ride?

About Toyota - The fascinating part about it for me is the dogpile by the media, the American carmakers (namely GM), and the politicians (for fook's sake) on a recall. Do they think their over-saturation of this is going to make people want to buy American cars? After all the years of great quality cars, I dont think this should be able to damage Toyota so much. The freakin' stock was down over 20% in about two weeks... To me that's a buy right there. If I was still in the business I'd be buying Toyota stock right now and over the next few weeks.

They'll fix this problem and continue to make great quality cars.

It's a 440 with a 727 Torqueflite. Numbers matching. The engine has been rebuilt for drag racing by the previous owner. The body is good no dents...however there is rust in the rear and trunk.
Beejeesusus I would need to be a partner in Shell or BP to run that here :), if you don't mind me asking but why are you selling it if I had one I would never sell it ? Silly question and I know it isn't a big block but what do the 318's get to the gallon?

Thanks for the point in the direction of the Toyota troubles guys, I had heard of the Prius braking trouble but had never heard of the issues with the Camry.

After doing a bit of research and some test driving I decided to go with my second string option which was a Mazda 3, test drove one today and loved it. I am 99% towards organising purchase tomorrow. Looking at a 2006 four door, found a really good one with under 80,000KM on the dial, full new car warranty from the dealer, complete service history and at a great price.

I don't know if thats GBP, Euros, or US $ you're quoting there, but that is one expensive car. :p 4200 thousand = 4,200,000

I quit driving cars, but due to the winter in Europe, I'm reconsidering it. At the moment, I'm driving a 2001 Honda CBR 1100xx Blackbird. (It's a motorcycle.)

When I lived in the good old US of A, my first car was a 1990 Ford Thunderbird. Took it over from my grandparents. After my idiot friend totaled my car, I ended up getting a mean 1972 black El Camino. I grew tired of the engine problems it had, and bought a 1986 MR2 which ran like a champ until I moved.

I'm now considering either getting a Toyota pickup (I want a Ford) or a Rover 75. So we'll see if I can't update this post some time in the near future with a more concrete reply. :)
