What can kill a Scrake or a Flesh Pound ?

yeah but sometimes my bare fist would do a bether job then the poor teamwork you find on a random game.
zerker.....katana, axe, machete, knife (with alt-fire of course)
commando......weaken with AK, finish off with SCAR
support....weaken with pump/AA12, finish with hunting shotgun
firebug......catch em on fire and run away
demo....pipe and m32 spam
medic....bow/katana

you recommend knives on Fleshpounds or scrakes? thats the best tactic I've heard since the whole "rage them using a 9mm" technique
I find LAR to be extremely effective on almost anything right next to the crossbow.. IF you are a veteran sharpshooter that almost never misses the head, the LAR is definitely the way to go.. Scrakes do get stunned from the LAR which I find rather amusing.. FPs on the other hand you have to kite and kill them with the LAR.. or LAR rage them from a far.. get them to like half hp or lower... then kill them with the m14...
This obviously only work with the sharpshooter..
IF you are that good with a berserker.. you could always kill them with the katana or fireaxe.. but it takes extreme kiting and skill..
Medics.. without crossbow.. no comment.. you really think you can kill anything efficiently and consistently without a crossbow? You could get a katana and kill the scrake.. but what are you going to do when the FP gets there? You could tank.. and die... or tank and let your team mate take it out for you..
Demo man spams of nades from launchers.. are proven effective... FROM LONG RANGE...
Firebugs.. on fp.. bad idea just saying... mac10 on scrakes however are auto win..

How do you think we killed them in the old days of KF when we never had the level-up content, or back in the mod days when everything was underpowered and the specimens were so powerful?

knife still works on scrakes (backstab code is still there), it just takes a little while to do it.....check it out some time. there's a video in a thread where a guy has it recorded in a solo match
That would be my video in this bug report, impractical but can be done with knife.
