you've read 'Brave New World', right? Brave New World and 1984 should rightfully be read together; they are such opposites, and yet so similar

I just finished reading the zombie survival guide. It's funny how you pick up the book all like "lolololol" and then you put the book down and you feel rather... vulnerable. >_>
Aye, it's kind of disappointing thatSpoiler!as soon as things start to work out well, it turns right around and start hitting the fan for the next half of each book.
Doesn't change the fact that they're great reads, though.
And then the bastard leaves you on a cliffhanger and doesn't put out another book for 6 ****ing years. I think he's worse about finishing a book than Robert Jordan was.
Anyway. While waiting for Martin's next book I'm reading other things.
I've decided that even the addition of zombies can't make Jane Austen readable, so yesterday I made work less boring by powering through Adam Carolla's In Fifty Years We'll All Be Chicks. This guy needs to run for office.
Having finished that, now I'm working on Bruce Campbell's autobiography: If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B-Movie Actor. Hilarious stuff.
At least Brandon Sanderson is excellent at staying on schedule... so far. Considering that the next volume is the last one, lord only knows how long it will take for it to come out.
Yep that book was part of my oral matriculation in english last summer. The two definitely share something together.you've read 'Brave New World', right? Brave New World and 1984 should rightfully be read together; they are such opposites, and yet so similar
I just finished The Pacific, the "official book of the HBO series" by Hugh Ambrose. If the series was watchable or even fairly good at some points, the book was not. Plus Ambrose

Finished Clash of Kings, that was amazing. Bran is now my favorite character.
Huxley said BNW was his satire of 1984.
