Posting on this forum. The wait finally made me join, even though I have been playing RO for years.

Have to focus on my final presentation. Handed in all the paperwork to finish my bachelor, however still have to adress a whole research department about what I researched in my internship...

And I can't concentrate at all:(

Got steamrolled by France in EUIII (MEIOU mod) so thats no fun, played some RO1 but then I drink a beer and my aim is off every time:eek:
TF2 a bit but gets boring really fast... From Dust a bit but according to my brother after 6 hours I will be done with it anyway.

Tried WoT in the beta, was a lot of fun, however when it was released the gameplay just collapsed when people started to pay attention to their kdr.. I experienced it like this
Spoiler!

Listening to my two year old talk about how the sun going down as we sit on the back porch.

Sounds awesome:cool:

I rather see them releasing the Beta so that everybody is in game instead of here :D

play Men of War Assault Squad + search for new ro2 stuff.. fck where is my DE beta :(

Exactly, only in my case I'm not even thinking about the beta because I'm so busy running my troops around trying to evade mortar and AT gun fire while my sniper and halftracks sneak along the flanks to murder their crews. :)

Seriously though--I'll start playing, get sucked in for three hours, and before you know it another video's out when I'm done :D

it's sad that nobody want's to play 3on3 ranked in mow. we wait the most time for players.. and skirmish we finish them all (heroic) :)

so it's a little bit boring and we wait for ro2 or men of war vietnam

Playing Close Combat: Wacht am Rhein

Is Close Combat fun? I was considering Iron Cross(Apperently one of the best/scenario editor?) or Arnhem around Christmas but went with Hearts of Iron. I've played games like Sudden Strike 1&2 that seem like the arcade version of it. And apperently the AI is solid and dynamic to an extent?

Well, I consider it to be a pc version of Squad Leader, probably the best war based board game. It is realtime, though it's rather slow compared to RTS games. Unlike Hearts of Iron, it concentrates solely on combat and your in charge of whole company consisting of three platoons. The soldiers really "exist" and are modelled with a health system and morale, so if your morale is too low soldiers will begin to panick and eventually desert. Even though the game is 2d only and looks a bit dated, it's still a benchmark for every realistic combat game.

I'm spending most of my time going to school, doing homework, nourishing my new-found love for nectarines generously, and lurking in the forums until the early hours of the morning.

Living the good life.
