Well... there's a feature I never knew about. Thank you, achievement glitch.

As soon as I went through the achievements, I saw this. It became my quest to earn it.
The attack is -terrible-, but I eventually managed to kill someone with binocs. Then the stats glitched and it didn't save.

Never even knew the binoculars had a melee attack, much less ever used it.
The funny things is that the first thing I did with binoculars in RO2 was melee. Was something I wanted in RO1 since they we're quite heavy back then.
Is it a glitch? I've been wanting to do that for ages!
There had been times on RO1 when I had my weapons shot out of my hand to the extent that all I had left were the binocs. And how I wished I could use them to whack people over the head with instead!

Only in the sense that I never used melee with the binoculars, since I wasn't aware of the possibility.
It's definitely something I want to try to do. Hope there's a binoculars icon in the kill-feed rather than merely a skull and crossbones.

There's the bug.
I remember now that I was awarded it when I first killed someone with arty. Didn't notice at the time that it said melee kill.
The achievement worked just fine for me.

Tough to use bincos. Theres a horrible bug were you use them and they float in the air blocking your view when you choose another weapon.

The editing, metal music, AWP shots with each hit and overbright lighting really made me laugh out loud.

I never saw the Achuevement before, but on the first day of the beta I found out there was a melee attack with the binocs due to trying to mark a rally point like in RO1, only I ended up swinging them...... hmmm I thought.
But why would you call this a glitch?

i just unlocked about 15 achievements by shooting 1 guy with a k98. like win a firefight round (ive never even played firefight...)
