Germany
Considering there is a German dev sitting in the next room, and his face was the basis for one of the German characters, I'm going to have to say yes we have seen other Germans ;)
That particular German no one has seen is on the 100 gram of bread a day diet isn't he?

here to kill your monster
Surely no German soldier serving on the Russian front, particularly in or around the city of Stalingrad, would ever have had a face as smug and self-satisfied as Michael Schumacher.

But what i didnt like was the faces of german soldiers. I thought i had seen most uglyest face ingame when i saw german player first time in RO, i was
wrong. Heroes Of Staligrad promising even more ugly faces if we trust to ingame shots in PC-Gamer.

i think anyones face would look like that after fighting through the ruins of stalingrad not knowing if you will survive walking around a corner and not bein able to eat for days whilst having constant flashbacks of people being burned, shot, maimed, dismembered, ripped and blown to bits!:eek: they were probly all supermodels before this bloody war...now look what its gone and done to them lol

How will the cover system work?

From the screens in PC game it's without a doubt a 'sticky cover' system, unless the player models were posed or it's AI. Personally I don't like the idea as there is nothing wrong with RO's own system. To me sticky cover feels like the game is taking control away from you. Like every single game with a similar system it adds frustration when you get stuck to the wrong cover or when 3rd person models dont match first person animations (already a big problem in RO!).

Don't forget putting frozen dead bodies under the tracks of tanks so they can get traction.

@ KillahBees, I don't think so, it's a very good looking engine and tripwire are a very talented team...

I hope the multiplayer is polished. So far I haven't played a UE3 PC game with good multiplayer support, especially the server browser.

How about a nerbelwerfer battery or maybe an 88mm gun :D

Maybe a multiplayer map where we are fighting with a blizzard going on while retreating back into the Stalingrad ruins

Did you work for Steinberg earlier?

Yes, plus the food people usually eat. +beer. Hey, I am German after all. Dave just made me look a little bit more ****ed up.

Just been wondering all the time from the original RO release and uptil now:
Are you the same Christian Shcneider that used to work for musicsoftware Steinberg (cubase&Nuendo) ?

Thnx

If first-person actor/body awareness (first-person and third-person use the same model+animations) is implemented and the cover system makes proper use of inverse kinematics it works would just fine.

I just hope you don't need a specific attach key, perhaps the sprint key could be used when looking at the face you want "hug"?
