Weird artifacts with the sun shafts

I noticed this in beta, but it's even moreso noticeable here.

Running it at mostly highest settings, with an ATi 5870.

Try disabling them and see if those artifacts go away.

Try changing your light settings too.

I noticed those as well. They look like sprite based shafts or shadows done on the cheap.

Ugly though... no setting change these and they are particularly apparent on when sun shafts project through tree branches.
