Not really mysterious bro <paraphrase blah blah blah>

The entire player base is kept in the dark. How is it not mysterious? Oh and poor TW, it's an old game and they have better things to do so we should all bend down and kiss their feet every time they release a map and regurgitate last years christmas theme.

Anyway, your comments are way off point and we still have no answers.

In other words "I don't want new content. I don't appreciate the perk system. I don't understand what I'm saying, and I only bought Killing Floor because it was $2.00 on Steam. I don't realize that TWI has released more map additions than Black Ops, and didn't charge me a cent (treyarch, mind you, would have made KF cost you $45 + for the maps you have). Whats more, I don't have the constitution to accept changes nor the patience to wait for a mutator to be listed even though it could be as quick as the end of the Christmas update if they deem it acceptable."

You make a lot of valid points there my man. I defer to your incredible wit and tenacity.

All I asked for was a response from Tripwire but hey good work on that straw man argument.

Right. You want answers, quick quick. let them do what they want, and if they allow it through cool. Don't ask repeatedly for updates. Same with other mutators. Unless its been a few weeks since they update, let it go. they'll let u know when they're ready.

Also realize this is a mutator that reverses a conscious decision made by Tripwire as to how the game performs. Don't be surprised if it takes a while (more than two days) to get any kind of response.

They only vanish at the end of the trader time. So if you die you can still pick up the weapon, granted it does away with the stockpiling tactic...
Not just that - in times when you are helping teammates who died by purchasing them something and dropping it outside the trader, they may not have time to pick it up or otherwise get organised.
Also as sharp, for example, rather than stockpile xbows i would often carry the LAR and leave a xbow near me on the ground - which i thought was a reasonable thing to do, plus i enjoyed the challange of dropping, swapping and shooting.
It is a shame this has been taken away - I fear the mutator wil not get whitelisted thou because technically it will make the game easier than it is in it's current state.

They haven't even acknowledged the problem? Least they could do is give some indication as to whether or not this will be whitelisted.

They broke the game and the community fixed it but we can't use the fix because of some kind of mysterious whitelisting process..

lol! What you mean they "broke" the game? They removed the point of stock piling and that is it. They had reasons behind it so it was on purpose now stop whining at them for a game that they have kept alive for so long. The community has had a major part in keeping the game alive I admit but there is no reason to have ago at TWI for everything they have given us (yes YOU too!). Free DLC/holiday events...when have you heard of that after so long of a game coming out?

So many idiots need to read what they're saying before posting things.

Some ppl would rather have the weapon stay than the new weapons i guess.
Phaps to be whitelisted the mutator would require the removal of the new weapons also, to meet with the satisfaction of Twi.

Personally while i liked the odd extra weapon choice lying around i'm not too bothered - i guess the employment of support classes to carry extra weapons for the team is a get around, although of course they then themselves become limited to 1 shotgun, which most wont be happy about.

Uhh which is it, stockpiling or 'memory' issues? Both sound like pathetic excuses to me.

Try taking your own advice before calling people idiots, you gormless tosser. Obviously the game is still playable but they broke an aspect of the gameplay without a second thought, which has sparked many complaints among the players on my servers.

LOL again, stockpiling has never been mentioned by TWI and was never an issue, the issue is, that it loads all of the weapon packages and keeps them in memory at the same time, if weapon stay was to continue, which then caused issues for players with older/lower spec pc's.

No ****. I was quoting flux.

Stockpiling was never the issue and I never said it was, flux was the one who brought it up.

No offence but isn't that the reason why people are wanting this mutator? For what i've read it's the main arguement of "not being able to stockpile" so when you tell us it's broken, that is the first thing I (maybe others too? Seems so...) would think to a reply like yours.

Really not interested in debating the merit of this mutator. If you don't like it, then don't use it. Very simple.

The change was not gameplay driven, but an attempt to not lose players with old computers.

No offense, but i believe BD already made one...
Just getting TWI to list it is the challenge.

thanks Halb, but Marco's will definitely be the better mod to use as it doesn't affect gametype like mine does. Mine could cause issues with a lot of other mutators that may use a different GT or even possibly weapon mods like the IJC stuff.

Marco, awesome work, shame I never understood that part from the start but at least it shown me a different way of modding.

Nice, thanks Marco. Now if we could just get it whitelisted. Maybe with the attention of passing the 1 million copies sold mark TWI will give us a mutator update sometime soon.
