Weapon with best overall DPS?

Over how long a period of time? Including ammo capacity restrictions? Including headshots? What percentage of the time? What level of perk? Against what type of specimens? In what formation? Including damage dealt beyond required for the death of the specimen? Including bleed-out? Burning? Secondary effects?

I was just wondering, theoretically, what is the maximum sustainable DPS in KF.
I "main" Berserker if that matters at all. =)
Doesn't it also depend what your targets are? For example, one sharpshooter using his 9mm against individual clots, vs one using his crossbow. Both do enough damage to decapitate with a head-shot but one of those options is more effective than the other.
I honestly just love running up to zombies with my knife out and cutting them up. Whether its wave 1 or 10, I use any weapon. Being to mathematical of what the best weapon is will make the game more of a chore, rather then a fun game.
Depends, some parts are, some are not. Updating a Wiki take a lot of time and anyway, the code will be changed in the next update so updating the weapons properties is pretty much useless for the moment.
