Weapon skins DLC

I searched for a similar thread but couldn't find any so.. I see that there are lots of threads about adding new weapons (and that's ok by me), my idea was to (and Im pretty sure lots of you thought about this) make different kind of DLC including weapons skins, like those from Dead Space and Combat Arms.
Just changing the weapon skin, but not changing the default stats, this could support the game even more and also add a fresh look to the armory.

Classic skins like mmmh.. SCAR: black with red reticule or a white desert eagle.

I think chromed out desert eagles would look cool. I think they make them in a gold color too.

noooo, p90 is a horrible horrible gun. The only reason people suggest and like it is b/c its notoriously over powered and overly accurate in cod4

maybe an add on that would let us give the guns a custom decal, or custome paint job.

Like a pink hunting shotgun with purple polka dots, so that way when I respawn I can see which gun was mine. Or on the barrel I could put something like
'here is a big one for you' or
'double the fun'
