I don't think I've seen this before, but will weapons shot out of your hand be damaged or destroyed? Would be an interesting feature, having to scrounge a weapon off a dead teammate/enemy, considering there are usually plenty of both.

No weapon shot out of hand in ROHOS.
I don't think there's been any word on it, and it wouldn't make sense for this feature to be cut.
AFAIK it's been confirmed, just not sure where, there has been talk about it before anyway.
Well that's pretty disappointing, any reason why they cut it?
It's kind a silly feature if you think about it, especially if you put it in the perspective of a video game (realistic or not).
1) It happened far too often in RO1. This was partially due to hitboxes and other factors.
2) If a gun was indeed dropped because someone shot your hand, you would not be able to just pick it up and resume firing as if nothing happened (which is how RO1 did it)
3) It caused more grief than immersion most of the time.
