My friend Ishmael sure as hell likes Resident Evil 5, a great game with some great "gun porn", even for a third-person game. There was this guy called Wesker, voiced by a cool funny hammy guy, whom used a custom Beretta 92FS that looked very nice to Ishmael and apparently me (and is actually very powerful ingame), so he decided to try making it on Killing Floor. Have fun, RE and Wesker fans!

Here is the link; http://www.mediafire.com/download/zdncy1ga9p4nswd/Samurai+Edge+9MM+Weapon+Skin.rar

Like always, too lazy to put screenshots, but don't worry, Ishmael got it; http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=583585143

Wesker Luna released a samurai edge skin over a month ago in the beta mod section I like it better the s.t.a.r.s. markings look like they where scratched in by hand, the wood handle looks much better, and the sight are just the normal style witch I don't much care for realy

but i've never seen what the gun looks like in the orignal game it was from so idk witch is more like the real gun

The sights got a fake tritium, that's not what the original 9MM had.

I LOVE it! Just installed it, ran it a bit before going going to work, and I'm already in love with it!

Oh and by the way this is how tritium sights are supposed to work. They don't glow so bright your eyes are going to melt in the sunlight, they just glow a bit so that you just see three faint green dot when it's dark.

I know they don't glow like the "famous" Neon stuff weapons do in KF1 and some of the custom KF2. Problem is, this "fake tritium" really is fake, it does not glow at all, not even just a little.

Yeah I see. Read the thread real quick and thought someone was complaining about the sights. My bad.

I think there was a trick to make the color unaffected by ambient lighting, but I don't really know anything about texturing.

Thanks for the help, but what that guy does is what I do as well. Seems that there's no choice, have to edit the _MAT and that's pretty much illegal.

Its not that its "illegal" its more that in the future, this method will no longer be available and you will need a newer method to implement skins ingame... like a mutator yo.
You should follow this thread then, and I think this guy knows how to do it ;)
