Looking really nice and I like the temporary buff level idea. You said about having a version that adds two stars temporarily? When exactly would that occur and depending on why it's there, would it tip the balance a bit?

I thought about having a master perk that gets 2 temporary levels instead of 1 during ZED time. At higher weapon levels you won't get high damage increases between levels, but these 2 temporary levels during ZED time might just be enough to oneshot that FP instead of just decapitating it or something.

If i read it correctly, he created 6 perks of his own using serverperks and you aren't using stock perks. He has "master perks" that grant buffs like reload and carry weight, and leaves the whole weapon perking thing to the weapon perks themselves.

If lots of people want to level master perks I'll consider it. Changing the system in this way is not a big change. I just don't want the master perk values to go overboard, so a level 3 whatever will dominate entire games.

I like the idea of them being static - I think it'd be annoying when a guy with lvl2 headshot perk joins with his lvl 10 LAR and your not as high. With static perks i think everyone will balance better :)

I have been watching his work and he's seemed to of moved onto L4D2 altering as i've tried his RPG mode he was making. Not too sure if KF has stopped for him.

this project has stopped being dead. I picked it back up, brushed up my developing environment and now eliminated a couple of the problems that made me quit it in the first place.

If anybody has experience with Unreal GUI code please leave me a reply. I got some new ideas I want to implement but I have no experience with this.

I do love the idea. Yet, I think that it shouldn't have any Master Perks. I think it should be like, take 10,000 overall damage and get 10% resistance to all damage. Kill 1,000 Stalkers, and be able to see them from ten feet away.
Drop 10,000 Dosh for your teammates, and get 10% off everything.
So on, and so forth. ;)

I'm getting a lot of pm's regarding this subject and I just want to say: This project isn't dead, but Dungeon Defenders has totaly consumed my free time currently. When I get bored of that I will get back to this, but it could take a while. I made some major changes to the basics of this mod and just need to code one more -kinda big- thing before I can put it up for alpha testing with just a handful of weapons.
