Again it's all dependent on the situation. Who gets the shot off first, who has better accuracy, where does the bullet hit. Just because you have an SMG doesn't mean anything. It's not like you as the SMG now have invisible bolt action armor and are only vulnerable to another SMG.is it?
I stated that the game does not have any situation where you, as a rifleman, would be better armed than yourself as an assault. Reasons given.

so I had an SMG. 6 enemies also had it.
now I have an SMG and only 3 enemies will have it.
that's what I meant by fewer threats. With the current design choices, more riflemen means a much easier scenario for the smg guy.

I want the game to be bolt-oriented, but I sure don't want to be stuck in a room with an smg'er or lmg'er (or even pistol wielder) with a bolt and have my perfectly aimed center chest shot fail to register ...
I'm convinced this has more to do with overloaded servers... You seeing this on small servers or half full servers too?

- Reduced Elite Riflemen and Assault roles on all maps.
- Fixed various spawn camping issues on all maps.

I don't know if you read my past post ... unless you're saying it's some type of server latency not related to the relative pings of the players involved. Either way, the end result is the same ... you get killed by someone you rightfully killed. No joy.
K i just started up the beta and i joined a server and the following happened
- Names of players , objectives , and other things were invisible or taken out , so when a objective was taken it would say "axis have captured the" and " has joined the game.
-I could not spawn at all , it just had me in spectator the whole time , then when i switched teams it killed my player that HAD spawned but didnt let me control him. it continued after i changed teams.
OK so Steam downloaded another 800 mb file today, and this is after I downloaded the 900 mb beta file last night ... all I know is that now when I spawn in the beta server, I have no weapons and can't see any bot players. Right ...

the changelog sounds very promising, i hope to see some more people playing once the patch goes live.
