ummm perhaps with the ScriptedTexture.. or the movietexture.. the problem with both is there so ability to choose what video atm...

the scriptedtexture has a camera actor to render images from

however the movietexture was designed to play movies on a texture(that you can use with a projector as well) however they never did make a way to say what video to play.......forgot about it i guess... i can make the ability however it would have to be whitelisted with the map.... and it would take me a while to make it, because i'm distracted with other things atm....

so unless you want to use a texture sequence....no

Actually, I don't that is possible based on existing research. Instead, I've decided to make the movie out of material sequences. Let me ask though, how do I make nested sequences? You know, so I can first make a few scenes, then mix them up at random times? Its like if you try to make a material sequence item andother material sequence, it doesn't work. Just sticks on the first one. I've messed with all the settings w no luck. I also tried material switch but I don't know how to time the switches.
Thanks

well you can emulate it.... in theory... havn't tried it yet.

lets say for ex. you have 3 sequences...and 6 textures

S1:
texture1 delay 1 second
texture2 delay 1 second
texture3 delay 1 second

S2:
texture4 delay 1 second
texture5 delay 1 second
texture6 delay 1 second

S3:
S1 delay 2 seconds
S2 delay 2 seconds

use odd amounts of textures or odd amounts for delays otherwise you'll develop an obvious and easy to read pattern,
this one i used odd amount of textures in each sequence so it's easier for me to show you what i mean..

our example sequence em
Time=1 S3->S1->Texture1
Time=2 S3->S1->Texture2
Time=3 S3->S2->Texture6
Time=4 S3->S2->Texture4
Time=5 S3->S1->Texture2
Time=6 S3->S1->Texture3
Time=7 S3->S2->Texture4
Time=8 S3->S2->Texture5
Time=9 S3->S1->Texture3
Time=10 S3->S1->Texture1

see how it'll kinda emulate randomness, there is an actual pattern(this one has a 12 set pattern(126423453156 Repeating, each Texture is displayed 2 times within the pattern)) but it's not obvious. it's not perfect but the more textures you get involved and texture sequences you get involved the more random it'll seem

HEY, THANKS BRO!!! that wasn't the answer I intended to acquire but it does help, reminds me of the old CS classes I took back in engineering college. I actually, at the time, wasn't able to nest them. It just took some tweaking, not sure what the heck i did but now all my sub sequences are cycling appropriately in my main sequence. I will take your advice when it comes to the appearance of randomness.

Hey Ro_sauce and Falidilio, why don't you guys friend me on steam so I can show you the map!?Love to play a game.
