Have played it for nearly 30 hours now and I have to say that I enjoy every aspect of this game so far. Really looking forward to how it will evolve, especially the competitive potential.

Perhaps not the best game to play solo, but that is easily avoided :D.

Btw, am I the only one hoping for a 32 player limit? 64 player ruined RO2 and BF3 for me. I actually even prefer the 16 player servers in War of the Roses!

Depends on the maps imo. So far i haven't seen a single map which could sustain 64 players without turning in to a huge cluster****.

been playing it for a few hours today, it feels like a crpg-cod crossover, but is surprisingly fun. archery is pretty simple, the arrow drop isn't as severe as in warband. the revive/execute mechanisms make tdm a bit more team-oriented.
melee feels a bit easier to get into, it seems a bit slower than warband. overall a pretty little timekiller with a halfway decent perk and gear-upgrade system (cod like), fun (arcade) gameplay and nice (not top of the line) graphics.
it's still a bit rough around the edges, but i'll keep testing and maybe preorder it before the -20%deal ends.

Played the beta for most of the weekend and I'm pretty much enjoying it. Had loads and loads of fun as an archer. I think I'll definitely buy it as it is a welcome change to the other games I play and it is just awesome for a relaxing round after work.

Been playing this a bit, and it is confusing the hell out of me. There seems to be armor values and weak spots, but the spam is so atrocious it doesn't matter. I've been able to damage people seemingly at random with no difference made by how I swing.

A tad disappointing so far. And the menus, ooh boy the menus. They are everywhere. The tutorial doesn't adequately explain what the hell you're looking at, and I'm pretty sure it's bugged in the first place since I can't finish it.

The spawn system is exactly what it shouldn't be. People pop into fights out of nowhere and the only thing that stops squad spawning is proximity to world objects. I also can't see the reasoning behind letting people move around in static spawns. You just appear out of thin air anyway so it's not like the enemy can camp you.

This game really needs some work and I hope the devs will step up to the challenge. The most fun I've had was on a server where everything seemed a little slower, like it was on a realism setting or something. Still lacked any kind of penalty for spamming attacks though.

I highly doubt there will be continuous support for this game.
Paradox Interactive controls their budget.
(Cities XL, ANNO 2070 etc. etc. just read about the support for those games)
