Realism is nice and all but me and a couple of friends were wondering if there is a way to increase walking speed.

You'd have to have a server side mutator to do that on the server you want to play on.

Maybe they are not referring to the default movement but in fact the actual walk key. I think is silences the sounds of your boots but it is extremely slow, so slow that it is not even worth using it.

Apparently they think otherwise if they made a thread about it :)

And just to remind ya guys, people have many different opinions, you might disagree with the OP, just don't be an *** about it, help him towards what he wants.

you dont need a mutator btw to change game speed. (this will include everything from walking to reloading etc)

Just check the ini file of the server or webadin the speed variable is there somewhere with 1.0 being default and 2.0 being double the default speed etc.

But I don't think he wants to change game speed, just walk speed.

Are you talking about WALKING, the default jog speed, or the sprint speed?

I only use WALKING if I am trying to be quite in a building....
