British accent to FPS game is a fresh idea. No more bloody "**** this, ****ing monsters, ****ing ****s." Just a bloody hell...

Do the game has a script about choosing the radio chatters by prevous radio chatter?

IE: I got funny moments on one server, cos we played with radio messages:

Me: Follow me you lot (follow me)
someone: No soding way (no)
Someone2: Who the hell you think you are? Bloody actio man? (insult)

I don't think voice acting is the most costy process at TWI since the voice actors are the devs themselves. Maybe the voice mastering takes time, but then, I can see in this thread that no one's against a few more voice clips for the two original voices.

It would be a few hours in the recording studio per person (recording studios can go as cheap as $10/hour to as much as $10,000/hour) and several hours of mixing after the fact to get the sounds right.

Since they obviously have someone working on sound (those new weapon and spec sounds didn't just spring up outta nowhere), all they'd really have to do is get the recording done and then hand it off to their sound guy (if he can handle it).

I cannot emphasize how much I would like to see this in the next big patch. Please please please please please please please please please pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease~

Wilsonam did one voice (the army guy?) and some other TWI staff, maybe Alex did the other.
Well...I've heard Alex's voice before, I don't think he done those, but then again I don't know how well he can voice act :p

I love the accent and cheesy lines. It gives a real B-movie feel which is a nice change of pace from games that try to be super serious and badass all the time.

Also, I'm not sure about the script. I've noticed that most of the time the chatter just seems random, although it can be pretty hilarious when it corresponds.

Example:
"Who do you fink you are, bleedin' action man?!"
"Yes."
"Okay, guvna."

HAHA! So true! I love to do that as well!

1:"Inside and get to work boys!"
2:"No sodding way!"
1:"What a plonker!"
2:"Ops, crap, sorry!"
1:"Thanks!"
2:"No problem."

Voice acting is fine, just needs more variety 1 voice for every playable character? rather... tiring to say the least

Agreed. The current voice acts are just fine as they are. However, new voices would be awesome. Just imagine if every character would have a different, unique voice. (Mr. Foster ftw)

Seriously, the voice acting in this game is the most funniest and immersive I've ever heard in and FPS.

It is a total success.

Voices?

Maybe I have a different version of Killing Floor. In my game, all the characters have the same voice and say the same lines.

they are very similar and say mostly the same lines, except the insults and maybe some others, open the SDK go to the audio tab and there you can hear malevoice1 and malevoice2. there the difference is clear

It's a guy who sounds exactly the same as the original one (if it's not even the same) saying the exact same lines as the original ones, only pronouncing them a little different :|
I'm not really sure why that and not an actually new cheesy introduction for the husk, a new insult or a new line when pulling out one of the new guns was needed.

There's nothing wrong with the voices really it just needs alot more lines. Thats why the voices in L4D don't get boring because there's millions of them.

So any chance of new lines for KF and how about some more female ones (wink wink Female DLC Skin pack)

Seriously, mad props to TW for trying to inject some character into the usually character devoid genre of Multiplayer FPS.

KF is only seconded by TF2 in the voice acting department as far as I'm concerned.
