Hi all.

Wasn't sure where to put this, so I put it here.

I made an app recently, mostly for me and my friends, with a few neat little options.

The first is a macro editor - it allows you to set chat messages to the numpad keys (simple INI edit) for those times when you don't have access to a mic (example: hit numpad2, it says "fp").

The second is for tweaking. It has all the UT2k4 and KF .INI tweaks in a UI, for easy modding.

The third is a music editor, which converts songs of your choice and places them into Killing Floor over the top of a song you want replaced (say, the menu theme, or some combat tracks).

I'm releasing this to you guys in case somebody finds it useful :)

Find it here: http://insomnia-party.com/heff/static.php?page=tuningfloor

If you do give it a go and find anything broken/have suggestions (or want to tell me how bad my app is :p) feel free to let me know.

Apparently F-Prot doesn't support 7zip compression, lol

Edit: Posts are taking forever to get approved.
In reponse to Robot's post: the macros are just an INI edit - it was easier to make an app to do this than to explain to my friends how to bind in console or INI. This app overwrites the songs in the game (they're OGG Vorbis files, in Killing Floor\Music. All the maps borrow from this core library - some with custom tunes (DOOMed's e1m1.ogg, for instance).

In response to Flux: Ini files and music files are backed up upon first run, and can be restored individually or entirely in the File menu, or the respective playlist tab.

isn't like binding keys in .ini?

sounds interesting, does this use the music only in the map or does it replace the music and overwrite it?

Yeah, it's just a lazy interface for the .INI. It was easier to make a little app to do the macros than explain to my friends how an INI works, lol.

As for the music: it physically overwrites the game's music files (after making backups, of course). For instance: say you replace the KFMenu.ogg file (menu theme) - here's what happens:

-You click Change Track on the Misc Page, Menu group
-You pick an audio file
-The program then converts your audio file to OGG, calls it KFMenu.ogg and overwrites the game's version.

Saves you tinkering with music conversion or the somewhat incomplete in-game music player.

When you say replace, does it make a backup? If not, i'd highly suggest that to be done but sounds great mate.

All the backups are made on first run, so you have a stock soundtrack at your disposal if ever you want it back in. You can choose to restore individual tracks, or all at once, depending on how you've customised it.
