You're not alone in that, laser is for single shots close up, while irons are for bursts and long range single shots.. or at least thats how i do it...

I use the iron sight for long range, laser for close/medium range.

m14 is broken as hell... It can one shot or 2 shot everything below a scrake including the stupid sirens.. (assuming You never miss the head) It has 20 shots per clip.. and reload time is a second or less... THE LAR has what like 7-8 shots.. before you reload one little bolt at a time... Good for accuracy shots where you need to take out a target immediately .. i.e. husks, scrakes, fps (weaken them) ... but with only 7-8 shots and almost no spammability it isn't advantageous over the M14 .. either way the crossbow is hands down the best weapon..

That's why I use LAR more than M14.

I use the ironsights on the rare occasion I use the M14. But that's because I can't really see the laser from distance.

Yes please nerf and make the damage out put of the sharpshooter so crappy that even a commando can out dps them.. MAKES PERFECT SENSE.. If I was TWI.. I would give the sharpshooter crossbow 5 full power insta kill shots.. instead of 40.. so they are still snipers just not spammable snipers.. Instead TWI is making the sharpshooter on par in terms of damage with Commando that's just plain foolish.. no who is sane will even bother with SS if they continue to nerf the SS more..

yes I get it they are making the game more team work based.. but what can the sharp shooter do that any other classing can't? No on can insta snipe based on wave 3 testing notse... so it's all about perfectly timed team ammo spamming.. in that case 6 man support will do a lot better then scatters useless sharpshooter all over the place..

Here's the thing about Sharpshooter: He might not do anything the best anymore, but he can still do everything proficiently. Think Soldier from TF2, or Assault from Battlefield. Sharpie is now the everyman class. And he will continue being that way until the buff his spike-damage and take away his handgun bonuses.

Plus, 5 insta-kills would be OP, for the Xbow or LAW. You'd just save them for FP's, and they'd make Patty a joke.
