Most users with connection issues after an update need to reallow KF in their security software. Since the .exe change the software still sees the name and doesn't throw an error it at first, then notices it is different .exe then the previous one and blocks it.

Can anyone help me, when I downloaded the new patch I then loaded killing floor and now whenever I try to join any server it will just get stuck on the connecting page and when I hit F10 to cancel it says " Connection failed norecconect". This happens every single time I try to connect and Its really annoying, plz HELP!!!

Admittedly, I don't have Linux, and have not tried to run KF or Steam through Wine, so I have no idea what really happens... it might actually be working o_0.

RO worked under wine if I recall correctly. KF is pretty much the same engine build. Also the open GL renderer is still there (non supported with a few things broken, but it works). I believe I've said it in the past but if steam support Mac/Linux Tripwire could easily make Mac/Linux versions of the games.

ich had the exact same prob. Delete the KF Systemfolder und verify the game data via Steam. Steam will redownload the missing files.
After that...every thing was back to normal. No connection probs!
