Good job TWI, still, for letting them slip into Retail, despite being fixed in the mod, is quite questionable in the first place.

I guess now I can't ruin Glitchers days anymore...while that makes me somewhat sad, it's more enjoyable without em. :p

Alot of the other changes are quite awesome as well. You've still got alot more to do, but you've quelled the biggest bugs so far.

I never found an issue with Headshots not registering, but I guess there was. I wonder how much it'll effect meh.

New motion blur is great, removes some of the ****storm it can cause.

It wasn't that they didn't register, its that the hit detection was slightly off. Imagine all the monsters had a small afro, and that afro was their headshot detection ;) That is what it was like. Now its in the right place surrounding their head. Also some of the larger Zed's headshot collision was smaller than their heads, and now it matches the size.

Has 'hit' detection for the syringe been fixed? I have got to lvl 4 medic now, but still, even when the person is standing still and I am shooting them up at point-blank I sometimes have to hit them 5-10 (FIVE TO TEN) times till the healing finally registers. :(
And then there are the times when I just run around like mad and shoot them up with the syringe and it registers even when both I and the other person are strafing like mad.

I am mostly playing on my own server, pings are about 40-80. However, I have also seen others report this.

It has led to team members dying on more than one occasion so I'd really like to know if this has been fixed of whether you are at least aware of the issue.

THANK you guys for the prompt updates, though. I am really enjoying this game - it's the first for which I ever got my own dedicated server running. :)

I haven't got a chance to test everything out, but so far things are looking great! A lot of game companies could take a lesson from you guys! Keep up the great work!

I am incredibly disappointed with this patch. Now I cannot kick and permanently ban people for exploiting on my server. Now I am forced to play this spiffing super game whilst drinking copius amounts of Pinot Grigio and listening to Heavy metal.

Thanks alot Tripwire for spoiling my fun.

Will there ever be a time you say good things about TWI without throwing a silent "screw you" in along with your nice words?

In any case, excellent patch. Looking forward to seeing how the hit detection works now.

Very nice and very timely update, thanks Tripwire :)

And a further huge thankyou for not delaying the release to fix the exploits e.t.c, it was ok with them and now even better without them!
