The usual bunch of forum fools have left their signatures with 'sighs', angry complaints and demands for NDA cancellation. Its a game which should not be taken too seriously. One englishman has recently died from a blood clot that resulted from consistently playing 12 hours per day. He did not even have time to marry or have children. No matter how low one has fallen he will still possess some conscience and sense of shame.

Meet us half-way, delay the beta all you want but lift the NDA on the current beta testers. The Gamescon build of the game looks entirely presentable, I see no reason why current players can't post it onto Youtube.

I can see two problems with this. Not all beta testers have the best hardware. If gameplay video comes out with sub-optimal graphics (because settings had to be turned down), it'll get poo-pooed on The YouTubes. I can already imagine the comments on it.

Secondly, it sort of screws over the press who have been working on press exclusive videos. You don't want to piss off the press.

thanks for the heads up. I was firmly in the "it gets here when it gets here" camp. But I have to admit the constant rumours and "I want ma beta now" posts were making the inside of my skull itchy. (ponder that one, think about how annoying that would be )

Now if you need any help deleting every thread dealing with the beta release date to leave this one free and clear, just give me a shout. I have a pretty darn big digital eraser in my pocket
