First of all, thanks for giving us an estimation. Although, I have to say I'm a bit dissapointed by this. I can understand how the game gets delayed for a week or two but when you announced that the beta would not be delayed that made my day. Since it is the last phase of the beta and this close to the release date I'm afraid it's hardly a beta. What kind of feedback can one offer and expect it to be fixed on release in a such short period of time ? (unless this is a server stress test of sorts and it would still be late do considrable overhaul) I've paid extra for this ''early demo'' because I'll be on a busy schedule at release. Tripwire is hardly a small indie company/modding team anymore, this has been an example of lack of coordination with the community and bad planning in my opinion.
I totally agree

Firstly the anouncement that the game will be delayed and not to mention, that there was mentioned that beta wont be delayed
Then comes the video in which a developer says "You will probably have beta by this time or soon"
Call me gingerbread prince, but one week isnt soon.

I am very sad, that tripwire took such silly methods which are implied also by other evil companies.

Shame on you.

Vote with your Wallet people! Dont like dont buy. Its not like there is a gunman behind you forcing you to buy the game.

Another thing is that; you get what you pay for! Your not paying for the developers to bed over backwards to please you, you are paying for a luxury (yes computer gaming is a luxury not a given) item that is to be released on the 13th.

Despite starting my morning with this sad news, ultimately I feel comfort now that we have a good ballpark range on when to expect the beta. It seems silly to polish a beta so we...can beta test it (let's call it a charlie! ;D) but I completely understand TWI's intentions and is a smart move.

Now everyone, go out and have fun and return next week! :D

I agree.
But I think what's relieving is not so much to know when we're getting the beta, but when we're not getting it, when we shouldn't be expecting it if you prefer.

I would say keep the DE and support the Devs. The game is cheap compared to others on release and maybe just maybe, if we take care of them they may actually take care of us.

I've bought more than 5 copies of original RO and got DDE of RO2. I followed these forums since RO2 was announced. Due to the fiasco this release has been I will most likely downgrade it to the regular version. Enough is enough. Delaying is ok, but how you communicate is abysmal.

I'm stoked about all the new video footage being released. I hope it keeps coming all the way to release and some.

or, you could stop whining, contribute significantly to the games development, get rewarded with bonuses and still pay considerably less than you typically would for horrible Games.

Do I dare ask why you felt the need to buy 5 copies?

Thanks for updating us Ramm, i really appreciate it.

I am also just happy that a game like this is even going to be made, i am so bored of the usual fps these days, no recoil guns dlc that costs so much and all that other stuff.

I cant wait to play the game, just like everybody else but for the game to be fixed & polished for another week or so, does not bother me, i can wait.

Keep up the good work TWI and just ignore the huge amount of hating threads that are going to pop up probably soon.

I am in the bad position that I bought the DDE for beta access but cannot make use of it as I am flying back home between the 27th Aug and 13th Sept. Now I am wondering if I can at least use my beta access for marketing?
I am thinking of giving a friend here in Shanghai access to my steam account so that he can play the beta in order to get an impression of the game.
Would this be allowed by steam (I think so, as you can allow another computer to access your steam account) and by TWI (which actually get free marketing)?

Anyone here that got an idea?
