Worked fine before the update, now I updated it, and it crashes.

Crash log and config (Had to rename config to .txt because forum attachment rejected .ini as invalid file) attached. You will notice that the ONLY thing changed in the config is the port.

windows 7 x64 build 7000
6GB ram
Intel E2200 OC to 3ghz
8800GTS640mb (Why the hell do I get low framerates (30s) in KF on high when I can run ut2k4 on max at 100+ (60 vsync) )

Have you updated to the latest graphic drivers?

What does the server say when it crashes?

1) Pretty sure I have

2)Nothing, it just closes.

check the server ini and try if you can disable the query to gamespy. I think that was added in the update. And that requires a port set open as well.

:D you fixed it!

[IpDrv.UdpGamespyQuery]
MinNetVer=0
OldQueryPortNumber=7717
bRestartServerOnPortSwap=True
bDebugPortSwaps=True

That line was the culprit

[IpDrv.UdpGamespyQuery]
MinNetVer=0
OldQueryPortNumber=7717
bRestartServerOnPortSwap=False
bDebugPortSwaps=True

And bam, it works :D

Has anyone experoenced a difference in the Game port, and the Query port?

Example.

Before I have this

7710 - 7711
7720 - 7721
7730 - 7731

Now the query port is setting itself to 10 digits later.

7710 - 7720
7730 - 7740
7740 - 7750

Hopefully this makes sense.

game port is used for players to play
query port is used when the server is in players their favorites to find out howmany players there are and on what map it is etc. query is to find out serverinfo directly by the player.

about your framerate issues btw you can try turning of anti aliasing aniso filtering, hdr bloom and motion blur.

Or run on the same renderer as ut2004 mostly does direct3d instead of direct3d9x.

Turn reduce mouse lag in the settings off btw.
