It has nothing to do with not letting you reply, just that your first 5 posts have to be moderated.

Again, this error:

Log: Couldn't set cooperative level
Critical: unrecoverable error - bombing out
Critical: Windows GetLastError: M

I reinstalled dx and all my drivers and it didn't help.. Going to try the opengl trick I suppose.
This is really annoying!
I'm used to games just.. Working.

edit::
Did not work or I did it incorrectly.
edit2::
I didn't mean you actually stopped me from writing, it was more of a pointer towards the silliness of moderation of posts that aren't pure flame or caps lock ;)

i had the same error and the problem was the process called osk.exe and msswchx.exe this are the processes that come up when u start on screen keyboard so just disable this 2 processes and it will work 100%, it was same with teamspeak 2 givin some error, and it was caused again by this 2 processes

I had the same message and tried all the different ways to fix it listed on the forums to no avail , i was due to upgrade my main drive on my system so i brought it forward and did a clean load up of windows install all latest drivers and it works just fine now !

I not saying it will work but worth a try !
