I absolutely love this game and I struggle to find anything bad to say about it, however, there is one thing that I seem to hear people complain about is its graphics, to me it's great, possibly a little outdated but good enough to achieve what it tries to, and works on most machines. I do however think that this game deserves way more attention, not saying that it's small but with the level of detail, realism and uniqueness I just think it should be the biggest WW2 game out there, not COD, MOH or BF1942. I was wondering how difficult/time consuming it is (technically, not how much money tripware will have to pay to get the lisence for the engine) to upgrade the whole game into unreal engine 3 based? I know this probably will never happen, but I am just wondering

.
Allright, guess somebody has to fill you in, instead of arguing over what the next game will be:
RO started as a mod for UT2003, and then ported to UT2004, they entered the mod in the Make Something Unreal Contest held by Epic games, and won the contest, reciving a price of two engine licenses, UE2.5 and UE3.
They used their UE2.5 license to make RO go retail, but they still have the UE3 license, and they are now working on a new game using this engine, nothing has been announced yet, we dont know what this game will be, but chances are it will be RO2, and there are rumours that it will have a singleplayer component (since TWI origionaly wanted to make a singleplayer game, and they have been looking to hire new people who have experiance with AI), but its all speculation at this point.
But you can be sure they will make a game using the Unreal 3 engine, they have the license, and since they have been unusually quiet for a long time now, and haven't been making new updates for RO for a while, chances are good they are allready hard at work on this new game, whatever that might be.
