A gun is not an axe. You should have brought the console back down multiple times in order to loosen it off the bayonet. Last thing you need is a bent barrel.

You know, I was thinking the same thing... great way to beat the crap out of the rifle, mis-align your sights and dull the bayonet, or possibly bend it.

Heh, I have been considering dusting off the old xbox for the new forza game. But i haven't turned that thing on since I got my new pc. And yes red ringed xbox makes good Target practice so do old monitors. Nothing more satisfying than pumping a full AK-47 clip into a red ringed xbox.

They're also the reason that developers spend time optimizing their game properly and the reason that I can play new games on my older rig.

I don't have the money to keep upgrading my computer. Some of us have to buy food and pay rent and whatnot.

I'm not sure what your point is. You made a sweeping statement with nothing to back it up. Pc is the best platform for all genres in my opinion. The only time it loses out is if a game wasn't ported over to it.

Regardless of genre it doesn't matter. I have controllers hooked up to my PC and my PC hooked up to my TV. Therefore I have the best of all worlds. There is nothing a console can do my PC can't do better (other than the games which aren't ported as I mentioned before).

You may not have this kind of set up. But that isn't the fault of the platform, that is because of you.

As for your comment about RPGs, I completely disagree with you. The simpler RPGs, which I also like I play on my PC with a pad if necessary. But I myself love Planescape Torment, not Mass Effect.

Don't get me wrong though, you are welcome to your views, but bear in mind they annoyed me enough for me to register for this site to make this futile comment.

Don't get me wrong, the PC is the better system -if- (and this is a big if) you can afford to keep it up to date with the latest hardware.

If you're a dirty lower class peasant like me who has to cobble together his "badass gaming rig" over the span of several birthdays and Christmases with a budget of $80-100 dollars, having the consoles around to hinder the usage of hardware in newer titles is a lifesaver.

Especially considering my CPU is the biggest bottleneck on my computer right now, so in order to get better power I need to buy a whole new computer, something that isn't going to happen for quite a while. Being a college student is a rather expensive affair, especially when you're paying for it yourself.

As for RPGs, it's a matter of opinion. I have a friend who feels the same about computer vs console RPGs, [sarcasm]but he prefers those sissy little JRPGs while I prefer real, manly WRPGs.[/sarcasm]

They're opinions. Not everything is going to work for everybody. I just have nightmares about trying to wrestle with The Witcher's interface, or those Diablo click-a-thons that wear out my mice.

Agreed.... I'd suspect the XBoX no longer worked and was already useless, so he decided to destroy it..... I know I did that with a few things growing up, but again, they were already broken beyond repair.

If it did work and he smashed it up anyways.... yeah, if I was his father, I'd be laying the smack down. I grew up with a neighbor who was like that.... all spoiled, got everything he wanted, didn't listen to anybody, stole peoples games and toys, either broke them or sold them at a local gaming shop.... go out and rent games, then smash up the discs for the hell of it, then either his parents would have to pay the fee or they wouldn't pay anything and would be banned from the store. I still remember one store put up a notice on the wall about damaging their rentals and used one of the discs he smashed up as an example, which they placed in a bag above the notice.

There were times I just wanted to drive a plank of wood into his face for being such a Doosh'Bag.

I'd also like to bet that the kid in the video was using his father's collector's rifle while he was away at work.

My dad collects all sorts of stuff from WWII and I am 100% sure that if he ever saw me do that with his Bayo/K98 he has up on the wall with all the other uniforms and medals, etc...... nobody would find my body.
